Scalextric Ford Escort Mk1 – RAC Rally 1971. Finishing fourth and fifth overall in the 1971 RAC Rally Fords Embassy Hill Team continued the excellent success that the Mk1 Escort had achieved in rallying throughout the late 1960s and into the early 1970s. The Escort was an adept rally car, being easily driftable on loose surfaces, and equipped with an array of powerful tuneable engines.
